Day 1
0920AM HARBOURFRONT
boarded Asian Raider II to batam.. heavy downpour on our journey there.. but luckily e sky cleared when we arrived at waterfront ferry terminal..
we were welcomed by a friendly staff from Harris resort who settled our passport and also provide transport for us to our resort which was nearby.. while waiting for our shuttle bus.. khai brought along a Big bag of snacks & we took a pic of him posing as uncle selling snacks along e street.. haha..
upon arrival at harris resort.. e staff served us with a welcome drink (a pink colour drink which was v sweet & we still dunno wad drink izit!!) & gave us a cute pouch (tt hangs over ur neck) it consists of e maps & other necessary information.. oh e theme colour of e resort is orange!! everythin is so orangy there!! i like! haha look at all our pouch with orange papers..
coz we still cannot check-in yet.. went around e resort to take pics.. e poolside is beautiful~! with cool seats for suntanning.. nt e usual wooden decks.. e resort aso has a clubhouse that houses e spa, ktv, bowling alley, squash, foot reflexology, meeting rms....
we were given a rm to check-in first so left our stuff in e rm & had our complimentary lunch at e resort's cafe.. cy & yh ordered pizza.. which was soso.. look at their sad faces in e pic haha.. dey became e guinea pigs coz dey ordered first hurhur.. e 4 of us ordered dishes (jackfruit chicken, kong po chicken, sauteed fish, fried chicken with dried chilli) it's nt bad!
1400 (Batam time) Nagoya Town
after lunch we had a free transfer to nagoya town.. it's actually a Big shopping mall.. shopped at e hypermart & bought lotsa shampoos & padS!!! super cheap there la.. we aso bought cup noodles hurhur.. aft which we had our fill at A&W!! yumyum~! love e curly fries so yummy~!!! khai ate lk 4 chicken & dabao 2 more back lor haha.. went to e meetin pt at 530pm to wait for our shuttle bus den one malay guy came to us & pointed to a board which states 5pm.. implying tt our bus has left at 5pm! but we had checked earlier w our driver tt it's 530 lor.. he's actually tryin to get us to take cab.. we ignored e guy & waited & our bus came!! e guy no face to c us liao lor..
we went to e clubhouse & sang ktv at e lounge.. is lk those 'da4 ting1' kind with no rooms so u'll haf to sing in front of other pple.. but strangely no one comes in to sing!! so e 6 of us occupied e whole lounge!! haha & we paid 5bucks each only.. tink we sang for almost 3 hrs.. & were given 3 cans of milo!! haha.. look at how tao zui khai & da are.. & so qiao dey wear qing lu zhuang agn hurhur.. b1 & b2..
aft ktv, we went to haf a round of bowling.. sth went wrong wif our alley so we were delayed.. end up e whole place left e 6 of us playing.. everyone else already left haha.. at nite we played Monopoly in cy& yh's rm till 3 plus before we konked out.. hurhur..
Day 2
2nd day was water activities day.. went to play jetski~!!! thou e jetski was abit lok compared to e one we played last yr.. but we had a great experience!! coz we were jetski-ing in a heavy rain!! it's super painful la!! den e rain stopped once we reached e beach.. pengz.. cy was e heroin of e day coz she braved e storm for yh as she was e driver wahaha.. too bad no pics taken la..
went back to e resort to play in e pool.. played waterpolo, monkey & water bball.. haha.. quite fun! no pics here aso.. aft washing up, we had cup noodles for lunch & played some rounds of bridge..
6pm, we went for our complimentary 1hr indonesian massage! it's at e rooftop of e clubhouse.. it's a v relaxing place.. but too bad my massager didn't press hard enuff.. so nt tt shiok..
we went to haf dinner at a nearby kelong.. we asked e resort's GM on how to get there & he was v nice!! he got us a 7 seater car to chauffer us there lor.. FOC.. in fact in e aftn we asked e staff dey say dey will charge $2 per person for 2 way transport.. hmmm... anws dinner at e kelong was v nice!!! but e prawns & sotong abit miserable la.. v little nia.. wondering y one of e pics below is so dark? coz there was a blackout!! it's total darkness man! den back to hotel, while me & jojo (in her other rm) were bathing, it blackout agn!! scary man haha.. luckily e lights came back in a while.. muz b lk khai, bring a torchlight to batam!
tt nite all of us slept at ard 11 plus.. too tired~!
Day 3
all of us had a great slp last nite.. aft buffet breakfast in resort, we went shoppin agn at megamall.. took a cab frm resort 13SGD per cab.. e 2 taitais cy & yh went to do manicure & hair treatment! haha.. we had A&W (again!) for lunch
we also had donuts!! it's so much cheaper there lor.. 1/2 dozen only 290000 rupiah.. which cost at most 5SGD.. (yday passed by J.CO in bugis it's 7SGD!) da loved one of e flavours: mochacino.. it's topped with belgian choc & mocha filling~! *drools* btw we saw a shop opened by yh called 'A Tham Tailor' wahaha..
went back harris & took some last pics there.. e jumping poses are so farnie!!!
1630 Waterfront Ferry Terminal
e resort's shuttle bus transported us to waterfront ferry terminal where we departed batam.. it's been a great short trip with e many fun-filled activities, A&W, relaxing spa & of coz great company!!! whooooaaa~~~~~
