Day 5: 05-05-08

Shift to Rainbow Hotel (Xi Men Ding District)
on day 5 it started to rain.. we left khotel to Xi Men Ding district to rainbow hotel.. rainbow hotel was small compared to khotel.. n of coz no more big plasma tv... e main facilities remains la.. juz lower in standard.. realise din take any pics of rainbow haha.. we had our lunch at a korean restaurant.. da ordered seafood noodle soup.. i had spicy kimchi hotpot.. great to eat in e cold weather..




Sun Yat Sen Memorial Hall
took e metro via e blue line.. 6 stations away from ximending to e memorial hall.. e whole place is very zhuang1 yan2.. ard e hall has many statues of chiang kai-shek.. n there is this grand one tink 3 storeys high in e hall & has guards guarding it.. real-life guards wor nt statues de haha..n we managed to catch e change of guards which starts at every hour...



when we left e memorial hall.. e weather became really cold... dropped to 16degrees! n i was wearing mini skirt la.. cant feel my toes anymore haha.. walked to a shoppin centre call New York New York to drink hot coffee n haf donuts at Mister Donut haha.. we sat at e window seat n watch e drizzle haha.. e coffee is free flow de wor.. n e staff will walk ard to help u top up coffee de.. gd service ba~




Taipei 101
ard evening we went up to Taipei 101.. cam die on us agn.. so nt much pics up there.. only had some exterior pics.. it's reeally high!!! e building has e world's fastest elevator of 1010m/min & it took only 37s to reach e top.. so cool~ wheee... at e top can overlook e mountains far far away.. too bad tt day was drizzling so it turned v foggy.. nt v clear.. tink it's better to go in aftern when e scenary will be clearer rather den night.. while we were on e world's tallest building.. sheng called frm sg to ask da 'go changi village exit from which exit ah?' hahaha pengz..



aft coming down frm 101, we braved through e cold weather n finally found e Taipei City Hall metro station.. by then e temp was prob 14degrees.. brrr... got back to ximending feeling cold n hungry resort to having mac.. hmmm somehow e mac there isn't as great as sg one.. e fries nt as xiang1.. n there's no chilli sauce... booo...
