welcome to Taiwan Day 2~!
Day 2: 02-05-08
then we took a gong1 che1 number 27 from their bus interc to Yu Ren Ma Tou (Fisherman Wharfs).. this is e place where most singers hold their concerts.. there also have a Qing Ren Qiao (Lovers Bridge).. v nice scenary there so took quite a lot of pictures.. oh ya we ate a specialty called Ah Geh.. it's a beancurd with some mincemeat and dong1 fen3.. we also ate their fried bee hoon, fishball soup and gong wan.. e fishball soup is not normal fishball wor.. there's bak cuo filling inside.. we then took a boat back to Danshui.. there we bought some Taiwan Tu Chan: Huang Li Su, Tie Dan and fish and prawn crackers in light blue packaging.. it's really yummy esp e fish one!! regret nt buying more back haha.. oh den we had e tall ice cream there.. tink we bought e wrong one lor.. it was ice instead of cream one.. so it melted within seconds!! da had a bad brainfreeze while trying to gulp the tall ICE cream.. so do check out e correct stall tt sell e cream one to avoid a brainfreeze!
we had dinner at Xin Xin Bai Huo.. another shoppin centre behind our hotel.. within walking distance.. we ate teppanyaki!! e food was good n nt ex! free flow of rice n green tea.. haha..

Beitou Asia Pacific Hot Spring
set off to Bei Tou today at around 10am plus after breakfast in hotel.. and it's our first time taking their 'jie yun' or commonly known as Metro.. e day before we bought their 'you1 you2 ka3' or Easy card with NT500 where NT100 is for deposit.. and it was just sufficient enuff for our 7 days in Taipei! hurhur.. generally their jie yun seems more spacious than sg.. and their seats in some cabins are arranged in an unique way! erm hard to describe in words.. looks sth lk 2 seats arranged perpendicular to another 2 seats.. it's easier to chat on train with ur frens coz u wun b seating in a straight line haha..
we booked appointment for hot spring online prior to our trip.. booked with Asia Pacific Resort (Ya3 Tai4 Wen Quan Guan).. took shuttle bus from Beitou station to the resort.. e place was v qing1 you1 and its on a hill lk tt.. tink it's wkday so no pple de.. our package includes a 70mins pao4 tang1 in a private room (which includes a bathroom, the hotspring pool and a little dressing room to drink tea and comb ur hair.. still got provide bathrobe n slippers de haha) and 30mins head & back massage.. costs NT3000 plus.. e pao tang was relaxing but e hot spring water was really hot la haha.. had to mix with lotsa cold water.. aft pao tang, we went up to e massage area and was served some hot tea.. e massage was v shiok.. they used hot stones to rub ur back.. really feel rejuvenated aft e pao tang & spa.. whee~~
Danshui
we then proceeded to Danshui by jie yun agn.. it's e last station along their red line.. from the train u can see the mountains and sea scenary.. it's beautiful! u wun b able to catch such nice scenary from sg mrts lor.. haha..
